Log the haul in two taps
Open the app, tap the count, done — the way you actually collect: standing in the run with one hand full of eggs. Log per hen when you're watching a bird, or just the day's total when you're not.
See who's actually laying
Production drops in a moult, a heatwave, or a short winter day — and it drops when a hen is unwell. A running record tells you which one you're looking at, instead of a vague feeling that the basket got lighter.
Know what an egg costs you
Feed price in, eggs out, cost per egg on the screen. Stated once, deadpan, no lecture. Most keepers find out they're doing better than they feared — or that the fancy layer pellets were a choice, not a saving.
Your coop, your data
EggBasket has no user accounts and no server of ours to send anything to. Your flock records are stored on your iPhone, and sync through your own private iCloud account if you turn that on. There is no analytics server, no ad SDK, and nothing to sign up for. Purchases go through Apple, as usual.
If you ever want out, the CSV export is free and unlimited — open it in Numbers, Excel, Google Sheets, whatever you like. A log you can't take with you isn't your log.
Free while it's small, one payment when it grows
One flock of up to six hens is free, with every feature switched on — logging, per-hen records, the cost view, CSV export. Chicken math being what it is, if you end up with more flocks or more hens than that, a single one-time unlock covers unlimited flocks and hens plus long-run insights and photo notes. Buy it once, keep it. There is no subscription and there never will be.

Is EggBasket free?
Yes, for one flock of up to six hens — and that free tier has every feature, not a crippled subset. A single one-time purchase of $9.99 removes the flock and hen limits and adds long-run insights and photo notes. It is a one-time unlock, not a subscription, and it is optional.
Do I need an account to use EggBasket?
No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email address required to use the app. Your flock data is stored on your iPhone. If you enable iCloud sync it moves through your own private Apple account, not through any server belonging to EggBasket.
Does it work without internet in the coop?
Yes. EggBasket is fully offline. Logging, per-hen records, the cost view and CSV export all work with no signal at all, which matters because coops are usually the worst-reception spot on a property. Nothing queues up waiting for a connection.
Can I export my egg records?
Yes, to CSV, free, with no limits and no unlock required. The export opens in Numbers, Excel, Google Sheets or any spreadsheet tool. Your history is yours to keep, take elsewhere, or hand to a vet — that is deliberate, and it is not a paid feature.
When is EggBasket coming out?
It is built and in launch preparation for the iPhone App Store, and it has not been published yet. There is no fixed date on this page because dates on a page age badly. Leave your email above and you will get one message the day it is live.
